The City of Woodland, CA is forming a new five-year “consolidated plan” for housing. According to an article in the Daily Democrat, the plan’s intent is to determine how federal grant money can be spent on housing and community development activities, as well as form an analysis of “impediments to fair housing choice.”

Here’s a link to the City’s own press release about the project, which includes information about a zoom meeting this Tuesday, April 29, at 10:00am.

They’re seeking community input, which hasn’t been forthcoming yet. There are a fairly large number of vacant lots interspersed throughout Woodland for decades that could be turned into housing.
