Joining the League of Women Voters Yolo County (LWVY) is a meaningful way to engage with your community and support democracy. We believe that an informed and active public is essential for a thriving democracy. Whether you are an experienced advocate or just beginning your civic journey, the League welcomes your participation.
You can join or renew your membership through the online LWV Member Portal or by downloading and mailing a completed paper form along with a check made out to “League of Women Voters of the United States.”

Membership Dues

The recommended dues rate for all Leagues is $75, but you may contribute any amount above that or a minimum of $20.
Please note that our League receives only 20% of your dues. For more information on how dues are distributed, please see the MEMBERSHIP DUES chart below.

Distribution of your dues:
- 20% of dues payments support the Yolo County League
- 47% of dues payments support the California State League
- 33% of dues payments support the National League
