Annual Membership Business Meeting

Don’t miss our final members meeting of this year, where we set the stage for the coming 2025-2026 fiscal year!

The Annual meeting is a potluck brunch and member mixer.

Program will include:

  • Board Elections
  • Program Planning for 2025-26
  • County Mental Health Position Adoption
  • Approval of amended Bylaws per LWVUS membership change requirements
  • Budget Approval for 2025-26 year

The annual meeting is also your chance to learn more about service and advocacy opportunities available to all members in the 2025-26 year.

Come meet the new leadership and hear about our plans for programming and outreach for our countywide league.

Interview with Rep Mike Thompson

Speaking to about 70 people at the Woodland Community & Senior Center, Congressman Mike Thompson answered questions for Komal Hak and for his Yolo County constituents.

Do you have a question for U.S. Representative Mike Thompson?

The LWVYC board is hosting and moderating a public interview with Rep. Thompson.

Our League interviewer will ask Rep. Thompson nonpartisan questions prepared by League representatives. Written audience questions will also be accepted during the event. Please note that questions will be reviewed in advance to ensure they follow LWV guidelines.

No voice questions or statements will be accepted. No paraphernalia, such as signs, t-shirts, hats, buttons, etc., will be allowed inside the meeting room.

Discussion will focus on how the current administration’s actions are affecting our district and nation, and the work Rep. Thompson is doing in response.

There is FREE PARKING at the event. This event is OPEN TO ALL and an Eventbrite registration is NOT required to attend. We request registration to give us an estimate of attendance and operational needs.
