Forum 2026: County Supervisor District 3

Your local League is holding back-to-back Candidate Forums in preparation for the June Primaries. Both on the evening of April 30th, we begin with the Superior Court Judge Candidates at 6 PM, followed by the Candidate Forum for Board of Supervisors District 3 at 7:15 PM.

Questions from the audience will be submitted in writing. Candidates may provide campaign literature at a table by the door.

The Candidates

Dotty Pritchard

Dotty has served as the 3rd district supervisor’s deputy and chief of staff under three supervisors, working on a wide range of community and county programs.

In this role, she has partnered with residents, county staff, and local leaders on initiatives that span public safety, homelessness, housing, fire sustainability, public health, parks and recreation, the arts, and more. Her 20 years of hands-on experience have given her a deep understanding of county government and a strong foundation for leadership.

Dotty brings two decades of county experience and a practical, results-driven approach to protecting our farmland and water, supporting first responders, safeguarding taxpayer dollars, and providing critical services for those most in need.

Xóchitl Rodríguez

Xóchitl Rodriguez has served our state and local communities for over 17 years. She is a small business owner and a former veterans deputy secretary and tribal liaison at the CA Dept. of Veterans Affairs. She is a former Woodland Mayor and an Army Combat Veteran, serving as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve.

As Supervisor, Xóchitl pledges to lead with integrity and stand up for our community and our best interests. She wants opportunities for our growing families, seniors, and youth so that we can prepare our community for a better future.

She will champion education and workforce training opportunities, including collaborative methods to improve our literacy rates, to help provide for successful future career opportunities for young men and women.

Xóchitl will also champion:
• Thriving and safe communities
• Public safety and emergency response funding.
• Housing opportunities and solutions to homelessness.
• Flourishing agriculture that prevents sprawl.
• Environmental quality and water conservation
• Balanced financial investments and reducing our budget deficit.

As a Councilmember and former Mayor, Mayra Vega has focused on delivering real results by strengthening public safety, advancing housing solutions, supporting local businesses, and protecting the character of our community.

She attended Napa Valley College and transferred to UC Davis. She earned a BA degree in Economics from UC Davis and an MBA from Sonoma State University.

As a County Supervisor, her priorities include:

• Strengthening public safety and fire readiness across our communities
• Expanding access to mental health care and substance use treatment
• Increasing housing affordability so families can stay in the communities they love
• Supporting our agricultural economy and protecting farmland
• Advancing sustainable water solutions for our farms and future generations
